Project Thoorigai
Sharing is caring!
The term thoorigai literally means a form of paint brush used in the ancient period by the kings and queens. We always feel every children as our prince and princess who have a great potential in them. Thoorigai is a talent enhancement project. Through which we help the children to showcase their skills in drawing. It is framed on the basis of covid crisis and also for a long term objectives. It helps in finding good potential children in the field of arts and craft.
The Main Objectives
One of the main objectives of project thoorigai is to keep children motivated and engage them in order to keep them connected apart from their online classes as a stress buster. We identified children who are interested in drawing and with the help of their parents.
They were provided with stationary kits from our team which motivated them to engage in this activity. It was a stress relief for them from the online classes. The children sketched their creativity on the covid crisis. It is a platform to showcase their talent in the field of art.
As a first step we engaged 20 children which had a good impact on the children mind. The talent students are taken and trained in the next session of thoorigai. “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up”. We support them to grow as artist.
